What to Bring

Cameras, binoculars, sunglasses, bug spray, sunscreen, warm clothing, a sweater and medium or light jacket. Rain gear and waterproof footgear, deck and/or light hiking shoes.

Weather

Southeast Alaska is a temperate rainforest. The lush beauty and wealth of fish and wildlife are the result of our ample rainfall, however, most of Southeast Alaska’s rainfall is in the fall and winter. Nevertheless be prepared for rain. April, May and June are considered the driest months. However, July and August are the warmest.
